Welcome to Tsemppi! These terms define how you may use the Tsemppi app and service. By using Tsemppi, you agree to these terms.

2. About Tsemppi
Tsemppi is an AI-powered workout app that:
Creates personalized workout programs for you using AI
Tracks your progress visually with a muscle map
Provides a community where you can share workouts and encourage others
Helps you train effectively and consistently
AI functionality: We use OpenAI's technology to generate workout programs. For details on how AI processes your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Note: Tsemppi is currently in beta, meaning the app is continuously being developed and you may encounter features that are not yet fully complete.
3. Who Can Use Tsemppi
You may use Tsemppi if you:
- ✓Accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy
- ✓Do not use the service for unlawful or harmful activities
If you are a minor, we recommend discussing with a parent or guardian before using the service.
4. Account Creation & Responsibility
Creating an account:
- •You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering
- •You are responsible for keeping your password secure
- •Notify us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised
Using your account:
- •One account is intended for one person
- •You may not share your account with others
- •You are responsible for all activity that takes place through your account
5. Beta Program
Tsemppi is currently in beta:
Free to use
The beta version is completely free for as long as the beta phase lasts.
Active development
The app is continuously evolving — you may encounter bugs or incomplete features.
Feedback welcome
We encourage you to report bugs and suggest new features at info@tsemppiapp.com.
Data transfer
If you continue using the same account after beta, your data will carry over to the full version.
6. Acceptable & Prohibited Use
Acceptable use:
- ✓Use Tsemppi for personal training purposes
- ✓Share your workout achievements and encourage others in the community
- ✓Share Tsemppi content on social media and other platforms — we encourage it!
- ✓Provide feedback and suggestions to help improve the app
Prohibited use — you must not:
- ✗Use Tsemppi for illegal or harmful activities
- ✗Harass, bully or threaten other users
- ✗Post offensive, inappropriate or illegal content
- ✗Attempt to hack or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
- ✗Copy, modify or distribute Tsemppi content or code without permission
- ✗Use automated tools (bots) within the app
- ✗Collect other users' data without their consent
- ✗Impersonate Tsemppi or claim to represent our company
- ✗Claim ownership of Tsemppi content, code or intellectual property
7. Content & Intellectual Property
Content owned by Tsemppi:
- •All Tsemppi content (text, images, logo, code, workout programs, muscle map, etc.) is the property of Tsemppi Fitness Oy
- •You are granted a limited right to use the app for personal purposes
- •You may not copy, modify or distribute Tsemppi content without written permission
Your content:
- •You own content you upload (profile photos, comments, shared workouts)
- •By submitting content to Tsemppi you grant us a license to use it for the purpose of providing the service
- •You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload
- •We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms
8. Third-Party Services
Tsemppi uses the following third-party services to operate:
OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini)
AI-powered workout program generation. We send only onboarding data (goal, level, equipment) — no personal identifiers.

9. Free Service & Future Pricing

- 💰In the future we may introduce paid features or subscription plans
- 📢We will notify you in advance of any pricing changes
- 🎁Beta users will receive special benefits when the app officially launches
10. Service Availability & Changes
Availability:
- •We aim to keep Tsemppi available 24/7, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
- •We may carry out maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service
- •We are not liable for damages arising from service outages
Changes to the service:
- •We may add, modify or remove features at any time
- •We may discontinue the service with prior notice
- •During beta, changes occur on a regular basis
11. Disclaimers & Safety
Workout safety:
Tsemppi provides AI-powered workout guidance and progress tracking. While we strive to offer quality content, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional before starting a new training program, especially if you have existing health conditions or injuries. Always listen to your body and stop if you experience pain or discomfort.
AI limitations:
AI-generated workout programs are indicative and based on the information you provide along with general training principles. They do not replace the advice of a personal trainer or healthcare professional. Strength level and muscle point metrics are motivational tools, not scientific assessments.
Service quality:
Tsemppi is in beta and is continuously being developed. While we aim to provide the best possible experience, the service may include:
- ⚠Technical issues or bugs
- ⚠Incomplete features
- ⚠Temporary outages
We value your feedback and fix issues as quickly as possible.
Limitation of liability:
Tsemppi Fitness Oy is not liable for:
- • Injuries or health issues arising from training activities
- • Data loss due to technical problems
- • The operation of third-party services (OpenAI, MongoDB, etc.)
- • Service outages or availability issues
- • The suitability of AI-generated programs for your individual needs
The service is provided "as is" without separate warranty, which is standard for apps in beta.
12. Account Termination
You can:
- •Delete your account at any time from the app settings or by contacting info@tsemppiapp.com
- •Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure
We may:
- •Suspend or freeze your account if you violate these terms
- •Close your account without prior notice in cases of serious violations
- •Discontinue the service with 30 days advance notice
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via:

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
We will always attempt to resolve disputes amicably. If no agreement can be reached, disputes will be settled in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.
